The claim that the prophecy of the seven churches was first brought to light by the Seventh-Day Adventist Church

When it comes to the prophecy of the seven churches in the book of Revelation, those who slander the Church of God say that it was already disclosed by the Seventh-Day Adventist Church before the Church of God. They insist that it is a wrong teaching that Ahnsahnghong revealed the prophecy of the seven churches.

Then, did the Seventh-Day Adventist Church correctly explain the prophecy of the seven churches as they claim? Of course not.  Although it is true the Seventh-Day Adventist Church interpreted the prophecy of the seven churches, their interpretation was not correct. The only one who can clearly explain all the truths according to the prophecies of the Bible is the Second Coming Christ Ahnsahnghong who appeared as the root of David. It can be clearly confirmed through the words of God in the Bible.

Rev. 5:1-3 Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals. And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, "Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?" But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it.

Here, it is clearly testified that the only one who can open the book of prophecy is prophesied as the root of David. And, the root of David that was written in the book of Revelation is very the Second Coming Christ.

Rev. 22:16 "I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star."

It was after the ascension of the First Coming Jesus when the Apostle John wrote, ‘But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it.” Therefore, we can confirm that only the Second Coming Jesus should open the truths of the Bible that were sealed. The Apostle Paul testified in the same context as follows.

1Co 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait till the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men's hearts. At that time each will receive his praise from God.

The reason the Apostle Paul gave the warning not to judge before Jesus came is that only the Second Coming Christ could tell the truth from the false through the truths of the Bible.  Then, did the Seventh-Day Adventist Church correctly explain the prophecy about the seven churches as they claim?  Unfortunately not. First of all, we should clarify what it means to realize the prophecies of the Bible before taking a look at what the seven churches is all about.

Jn. 5:39 “You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me.”

The Bible is the very book that testifies about Christ. The prophecy about the seven churches is also a prophecy written for us to realize Christ.  The most important thing to understand through the prophecy of the seven churches is from which point and which church the Second Coming Christ will appear. However, the Seventh-Day Adventist Church does not correctly explain about the Second Coming Christ that should be the most important part among prophecies of the seven churches. Then, how should we understand the Seventh-Day Adventist Church explained in the prophecy of the seven churches? At first, let’s take a look at the prophecy about the appearance of the Second Coming Jesus in the prophecy of the seven churches.

Rev. 3:14, 20 "To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God's creation. ……. Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.”
As the words of the prophecy above, it is confirmed that the Second Coming Christ is to come from the Seventh-Day Adventist Church prophesied as the church in Laodicea and is now knocking on the doors of everyone’s heart. However, the Seventh-Day Adventist Church interpreted the church in Laodicea as the one secularly corrupted, failing to inform us of the most important thing, the appearance of the Second Coming Christ. Therefore, it is a wrong to claim that the Seventh-Day Adventist Church completely interpreted the prophecy of the seven churches even before Ahnsahnghong did.

Ahnsahnghong explained that the last Church of God is the perfect true church.  That is, even though the truths had begun to be restored little by little after the religious reformers, the perfect truth should be restored only after Ahnsahnghong comes back. While the Seventh-Day Adventist Church interpreted some parts of the prophecy of the seven churches written in the book of Revelation, it cannot be the perfect explanation since the complete truths had not been brought to light. Ahnsahnghong showed the perfect truth of the new covenant including the prophecy of the seven churches through the words of the Bible. Hence, we can clearly understand their false claims that state that Ahnsahnghong cannot be the Savior of this age because the prophecy of the seven churches was already testified by the Seventh-Day Adventist Church and that He is not the one who revealed the prophecy of the seven churches.

Ep 6:10-12 "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand."
